I had trouble locating the 'hidden' drain plug until I watched this video. Thanks!
i like how you included a 6 pack of beer 😅😅😅
Half of these knives are unnecessary. No need for a santoku and a meat slicer when you have a chef knife. Chef knife, bread knife and a small paring knife is all you need.
It's been a few years since I posted this video, but I would 100% agree. The steak knives are also nice. If anything, I'd like a second chef's knife that I could use while the other is sent off to be sharpened.
I survived in Japan on these they are amazing
þrðmð§m 😢
Does anyone else pour a little bit of new oil, down the dipstick tube, and oil filter housing? I've always done that. Keep the drain plug out, that little bit of new oil will grab the old, residual oil that's still left in the bottom of the pan etc. 🤷♂️. Guess I have OCD. Lol. Good vid.
What No lids for pans??
Same lids for pots and pans.
I bought a 12 pack of IPA in case my oil drains slow. You can't be too careful.
Could have mentioned the oil capacity... I watched this video mostly hoping to get the oil capacity. But generally good job i still gave ya a thumbs up
He did, right at the beginning. 5.1 qts
Thank you sir!
Do you put just 5 qt or did you put 5.1 qt in?
I just put in the 5qt and left it at that.
She’s so cute!
So tranquil! I really enjoy the steady paced foot padding sound. Thank you.
here before this gets into everyone's recommend
Хороший набор 💥👍👍👍
If I was here this would have been a highlight of my life
I was there it was awesome
Nice clouds. I was there.
Thanks that's helpful
Nice! Having space for 4 large trash cans inside cupboards... crazy! :P
Hello I'm Steel casting handil fryfan sosfan triply handil manufacturing india
How much??
The way he pulled the santoku out of that cardboard sheath almost gave me a heart attack 😳
Yeah.... That was not the brightest thing to do.
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL..........................Oh get real
Subaru definitely makes this easy to do yourself. I always lower the car before checking the final level so it's not on an angle and more accurate.
Good habit. I do fleet maintenance on the trucks at work and if im in a hurry and check it later in the yard, sometimes it can be a half a quart off.
I just got this recommended
Because i can’t fill up the oil filter before i install it i filled up the center of the oil filter chamber with nice clean oil to make start up with oil quick.... oil pressure builds quickly on initial start... what do you think???
Hi, what's the set (kit) name and that's the price?
Does the beer go in before or after the oil refill? Oil to beer? Beer to oil?
Depends if you are looking for best results or least complaints from the mechanic.
I followed these directions and my 2016?Subaru crosstrek makes a funny whining noise when it’s idling and they car shakes when it switches from 1st to 2nd gear, has anyone had this problem?
Update - looks like a actually emptied my transmission fluid.... not my oil. The oil plug is more hidden than the transmission
I remember wrecking our family knife set, that we still have, back in the early 2000's. I burnt the tips and bent all the smaller blades. Good thing it was a cheap made in china set. I'll get one of these sets and I'll definitely explain to my kids why they shouldn't ruin them like I did.
Bro you busted out the helmet cam, big respect
Just spent $400 on some steak knives, trying to justify my decision right now. Having some trouble doing it so far
My desktop has a low specs and i can't afford any of this so i just watch them unbox it then i'm happy.
I like the video. Thank you for being my UA-cam instructor.
You're welcome
The wrench size is a 14mm for the drain plug.
The one on my wife's crosstrek is a 17mm too. Maybe yours was replaced at some point?
@@RCGshakenbake it’s really weird…some Subaru’s have the 14 mm, and others have the 17 mm. 🤔
I cannot find the hole to unscrew the oil cap under the car. I swear the under carriage of my Subaru cross trek looks slightly different than yours! What am I missing. I don’t have ramps so visibility is challenging. Any advise?
Wow amazing
4 years later and it still bothers me that the is paring knife is backward
badest rewiew ever :(
What ramps are those? Have they held up ?
Rino ramps.
Use a 6 point wrench or socket on the drain bolt a 12 point will chew the plug head up.
What time of year did you guys go? My wife and I are planning a trip to Japan in April and Yagyu no Sho is on our list.
January. We are planning another trip to the same place during Fall. Highly recommend.
btadeus, thanks for posting the video. . .Just curious, are you using a K&N air filter also? I use in my bike and another vehicle, however this is my first Subie so I'm trying to get ideas of what people are using in their Subaru's.
Yes, I am using a K&N filter, but you should be fine with any that fits.
Hi Man do you know what coolant do I need to buy for my subaru crosstrek 2016 thanks for your help great vieo
kudos to Subaru making the oil filter so accessible, really making this an easy DIY for anyone.
Really cool. Didn’t have time to watch the whole video but awesome to see crosstreks are beer powered. Sort of like me.
Thanks for uploading I was curious about this product
I miss these so much.
Great video. Would you happen to know if everything is the same for the 2017 Subaru Crosstrek (Premium)? Thanks
Helped me do it for my crosstrek 2017 premium
@@juanvargas8546 thanks!
